Who are the advisors and how are they modeled?
Each advisor has a structured persona config in board-members/[id].js that pins down their public profile — division, tagline, specialty, biography — alongside a hand-authored systemPrompt built from their published writing, interviews, and capital-allocation track record. At request time, buildAdvisorSystemPrompt() composes that profile with the systemPrompt and hands it to the model, so the response is generated in that advisor's authentic voice and reasoning style — not a generic LLM answer.
What does the $777 session actually deliver?
One paid consulting session per advisor: one question you submit at checkout, one deep-dive response generated in that advisor's voice via the OpenAI Agents API, persisted on the board_sessions row. After Stripe confirms payment, /board/success renders the cached analysis so you can read it immediately, and we email you a deep link so you can revisit the same deliverable any time without paying again. No subscription, no follow-up calls — a single written advisory per advisor.
How is the analysis generated?
Once a board_sessions row is paid, runAnalysis() composes your question with the advisor's composed system prompt and calls openai.chat.completions.create({ model: "gpt-4o-mini" }). The generated advice is written back to analysis_text on the row, and revisits hit that cache — no re-billing. Pass ?refresh=true on /api/sessions/:id/analyze to force a regeneration if you want a fresh take on the same question.
